Top Film & Television Apps on Android in Nigeria Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Nigerian market saw varied performance among the top film and television apps on the Android platform. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading apps.

TodayTix – Theatre Tickets experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 293 downloads in early October, the numbers dipped to around 152 in mid-October, before gradually rising again to 215 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 873, with minor fluctuations, eventually settling at 739 by the quarter's end.

For Regal: Tickets and Showtimes, the app saw an initial 70 downloads in mid-October. Active users started at 60 and saw a sharp decline, stabilizing at around 4 by the end of December.

Cinemark Theatres had 69 downloads in mid-October. However, active users dropped from 65 to a low of 5 by the end of the quarter.

MegaBox had minimal activity with only 4 downloads reported in early October.

Finally, 麥田劇場 also showed low engagement with 4 downloads at the start of the quarter.
